Time flies when you are having fun!

Wow this summer has flown. I am sure as I look back I will just smile and say remember those awesome summer days..I wish we could go back...but right now I am exhausted.
There are four different bags setting by my back door..beach/pool bag, water park bag, Busch Garden bag and playgroup bag. I made the mistake of grabbing the wrong bag and well goggles at Bush Gardens are not all that fun.
And we have no pics 'cause all this going is hard on my poor camera and she is all scratched up.

I fall into bed every night and sleep like a rock until Wyatt wakes me up and sometimes that has been at the lovely 3-5 o'clock hour in the am *sigh* but like I said we are having FuN.
And sometimes he is this cute at night :)

Us ladies were all able to go out for our sweet friend Sheri's going away dinner. She is heading over the pond to Jolly Ole England. We will miss her sooo Much!!! But us Bingham's plan to make a habit of visiting them and kicking up our heels in London and all the other cool places over that way. Here hoping her girlies wind up with those darling accents :)
One half of the table....
The other half!
Sheri we will miss you!!!!

I am old, "the day the Lights went out"

My mom moments...
A few weeks ago I asked my girls to get ready to go to the store and yelled out "make sure you are dressed" (if you live in my house you know why I say this ) to which my oldest replied..."Oh that is so classic Mom".When did I start having classic sayings???...and she sounds just like me when I use to talk about my mom...I guess I now have sayings...*sigh* it is all downhill from here. Next she will be saying "oh mom you do not know everything"....wait I think she has already said that. :(

I then walk into the kitchen and see a white powdery substance all over the floor and all over the cabinets. It is everywhere!!! I yell ANA GET In HERE!!!! Who else would it be? I ask her what it is and why it is not cleaned up? To this she replies..I do not know what the bag said..you have not taught me how to read..and I did clean it up....you should have seen it a few minutes ago.
*sigh* I made her vacuum it up and then mop..she is smiling the whole time and I ask why? "Oh well", she tells me, "now I am really doing good stuff, mom just like you". That kid....she can make me mad and laugh all in a matter of seconds...and just for the record..she is reading just not well :)

The day the Lights went out
So like the crazy dork that I am I decided to become a board member on my daughter's school PTA board. Not like I do not have a zillion things on my plate so why not....let's add another...*sigh* anyways so we could go to a training this last weekend at a very nice resort. We were super excited 'cause there was golf for Chris and an awesome monster pool for the girls and a little alone time for Mom. Could not be more perfect..oh did I mention we did not have to pay for it!!!!So off I go to meet Chris there later. We have a pretty good afternoon and I loved having someone unload my car for me and carry all of our bags to our room. Snazzy!! We later met up with some friends and had dinner. After dinner we went back to our room to get ready for the fun day we had planned. As we got ready for bed Sadie started to complain of a stomach ache. She had complained earlier in the day but I kinda thought it was car sickness and dismissed it. Boy was I wrong. She shortly got really sick and got sick and got sick...I hope you get the picture...well actually it was so gross I hope you do not :) Ana soon followed and I brought up the rear. Poor Chris! He was cleaning up all of our throw-up and trying to take care of Wyatt 'cause I was a mess and guess what???? the lights went out!! Seriously no kidding. It was crazy!!! We used our cell phones to light the way to the bathroom. At this point I was like seriously!! I mean really? Well after a while things improved. The lights came on, we piled everything outside our door and we were able to sleep for a few hours before we awoke and packed everything in my car and headed home. The trip home was interesting and for the next few days we hibernated and tried to get better. It was one nasty bug and I am relived to see the end for it.
And there are no pictures of any of it...Thank Heavens!!!!!!

WARNING!!!!!Brag Moment!!!!!
One of the special things that came from all of this was to see my sweet girls doing so much. .....Sadie and Ana helped out so much with Wyatt. They changed diapers, rocked him, played with him and gave him baths. I felt so sick and was so relived to have their help. I mean they are 5 and 8!!! What amazing kids I have :) Here are a few pictures of them I snapped b/c I was busting inside from pride and did not want to forget this moment. It will help when they are fighting and yelling at me and I want to tie them up...oh did I actually type that last part....what I meant was that I want to calmly sit them down and explain to them why it is important that they do not slap or punch or call each other names.

And last but definitely not least..my husband is my hero. He is a really good guy. I mean who works all day (long days) stays up all night cleaning up everyone's throw up (and is very sweet and kind as he does this) and then drives home and cooks and cleans for all of us for the next few days. He is kind, patient, wise and fun. I learn from him everyday. He really is my hero!!! I love you!!!.

A crafty maid, Independence Day and BK

Hmmm...ever wonder what it would be like to have a maid or housekeeper??? I will most likely never ever ever ever have one..I am way to weird about my house and how I like things, to have someone else clean it for me.....and I would also feel horrible if they came in and it was dirty etc and then I would have to spend more time cleaning it so they would not have to work so hard... And I think it is a way tough job anyway and I would probably make them sit and me clean......it would be a crazy, twisted cycle. But of late I was thinking that I would sooo love a craft person! I would just show her all of the projects that I would like to make and she would do them for me. That I can do!!! Maybe one day.

Independence Day
We had a great weekend celebrating our countries Independence!! I luvvvve the United States of America :) I am so grateful/proud to be born here! Chris and I took some time to talk to the kiddos about the importance of this holiday and why we celebrate it. I love being able to express my testimony about this great nation and the importance of FREEDOM!!! I hope that my children will come to understand that it is more than fireworks and barbecues. But on that note we had a terrific time with the fireworks and barbecue thing :)

Brian and Kelly nicknamed BK by Jess...came to meet all of us nice Florida folks...I just read this awesome book called The HELP and my southern accent is peeking through. Even with all of the rain we had a great time. Kelly is awesome!!!! and I am so thankful she will be part of our family. Way to go Brian.
We did the beach, a girls night out, shopping and fireworks! Here are a few picks I took.
Baby Chuck! Happy as usual.

Kelly and Brian..
