Growth

There is a lot of that around here of late….

My list of to do projects, homework, my hair….I am looking ratty and so need a hair do….? Any ideas??.....I think I want long layers and highlights….

My waist…( I have to START working out again)

Our bills…we have the awesome opportunity to start paying back his student loans..YEahh!, …sarcasm people J

….our little Max,

Sadie’s feet…that girl is wearing an adult size 8...YIKES! Her feet will now be forever known as Sasquatch feet. But do not tell her….that will bring on the tears and wailing ….can you say hormones. On that note my patience is growing….not sure how people live through girls and their hormonal fluctuations. But I now just go to my happy place and ignore them. Chris and I are currently looking for mountain get-a-ways for when the real fun aka puberty hits. We plan on shipping them to Chris’s parentsJ

My Wyatt is growing up….he tells me No, Mine, and go away. He throws some amazing fits, climbs on tables and barstools, falls down stairs, runs away from me in stores and gives some pretty sweet kisses..and that is just before ten o’clock in the morning. I really like nap time.

My Ana…she is reading like a champ, doing great in school and is just growing into a really sweet little girl. Today Sadie was sick…and btw-when you arrive in Tennessee there should be a huge sign that reads……

”Welcome to Tennessee, The home of every Allergy known to man”

Boy oh boy have my allergies reappeared…I am itching like that poor kid that you played hid and seek with and he hid in the poison ivy. And I think Sadie has some too..she asked me in hysteria this morning..(Gross alert here)!!!!

Why there was snot in her mouth??…I did a double take on that one thinking maybe Ana had done something…... But no I realized she meant post nasal drip. She completely freaked. It was quite entertaining. I got Ana off to school and went to the store and picked up some sinus/allergy meds for her. So this meant Ana went to school on the bus and came home all by herself…1st time ever…easy peasy she said to me..I was, well terrified..I kept picturing her walking off and not making it to her class or some of the big kids being mean to her…..(Sadie is a pretty awesome big sis..And no one messes with her little sister) I am quite spoiled with Sadie..she is like an adult in a little girls body....I am a pretty lucky gal and when I see how protective they are of each other it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I really adore my girls.

But this is what I saw as I waited for her to get off the bus today….

She came tearing across the grass whooping and cheering...I said how was it?? She said no biggy mom, I did fine....my baby girl is growing up..sniff sniff.

Peace and Bliss

Bliss-definition-extreme happiness.
Peace-definition- a state of harmony

When I look at this picture i think of both......

When I look at this picture....I see my crazy hiker dude :) who aspires to hike some serious trails....

After this last hike...I see all of his dreams go poof!!!

Kidding sort of :)
This last weekend....We hiked a short trail to a beautiful waterfall. And in the first 5 minutes, our daughter did not fall and bust her knees and cut up her hands...and our other daughter did not get all wet and not want to wear her shoes. And both of kids did not get sooooo tired and complained all the way back to the car......

No not our kids....but their mother...complete awesomeness...yep that is me..no complaints, no whining, nothing nada...I even had to carry my hulk of a son the whole way there.......but we will not mention how bad my feet look after...I have some serious blisters and wearing church shoes today were pure torture.

So things we have learned, hiking is not for our girls.... (yet)...and I need better shoes.

Here are some more pictures of our adventures.....our girls did love the waterfall..they just requested that maybe they have a ride that takes them there..Ugh......Chris and I are about to embark on some serious toughing up of our children. Just you wait..they will be able to shed their weeny status in no time.

Ignore my sweaty grossness.
Wyatt chillin on a rock at the bottom.

harvesting 101

So you know that song by Craig Morgan..International harvester.........of course not...who does...?
I am not a fan and I only laugh when it plays and then I turn the station....Sorry...no offence to harvester people...it is just not my thing......but I included it for your educational enrichment/enjoyment....

And your very welcome..... you know you wanted to hear it :) .....Chris thinks it is a hoot....and loves singing really loud with his fake southern accent..he knows it Bugs me Makes me laugh.

So on the way home we took the long route..using our favorite road...named...Sheegog...no kidding....Awesome huh?? So on a side note....what is your favorite/weirdest/craziest road name in your town???

And low and behold...guess who was in front of us going 2 miles an hour...yep not one but three of those big harvester things. I think we laughed until we cried...good times. It would have been perfect had the song actually played while we were following them....

So on the note of harvesting......now that we have an orchard..ahem..... five peach/apple trees...we must go out in this 100 degree weather and pick them....but first we must dress accordingly..

..

Can you tell by the girls footwear that we are not use to having a big grassy yard...??? They did not want the grass to touch their feet....Sheeesh.......

And hey if a randon horse comes running through our yard... sadie is all ready to go riding...

And you always have time for a few good disco moves while picking peaches...(right?)
(Note that neither Chris nor Wyatt are wearing shoes....they are truly wilderness men. Bear Grylls look out.)
So after five minutes hours of working hard to harvest your crop....you need a nice long soak in your Jacuzzi whirlpool tub..and of course you need to use every last drop of soap in the house

Yep, these are my children and not soap monsters.

And Chris wants to move...the neighbor to the right of us has a road named "Abbey Road"...he wants to buy a house there so he can tell everyone we live on the road named after the Beatles's Album.

Enjoy!

The wheels on the bus......oh and the Dr is in!

......Go round and round all the way to school..Yay!! We started school this week.
Here they have all around year school so they go back a lot sooner than we did in Florida.

Here are my cuties waiting on the bus...this was the first time they could ever ride it. Before, we lived to close to the school. I was worried but the bus driver is a sweet man and they are dropped off and picked up right at the end of our drive..score for me ;)

My girls...

The love getting to wear purple this year.

Ana posing as usual :)
Sadie lady..I can not believe she is in 4th grade...crazzzy!
Chris officially started work......
And I had to snap this pic of him....he was sporting this Rad pink shirt and looked pretty awesome in it!!!I married a hottie.
Sorry he is tired...... this is at 6 am. He loves his job through....great people to work with and he said it feels completely normal to him. Just like residency but this time he is in charge. Kinda cool but would scare the crap out of me. Good thing he went to school for a bil-gillion years so that he knows what he is doing.
