holiday festivies

Christmas was great..even thought my poor hubbie worked 15 plus hour days on Christmas eve and Christmas day..but all was well..I have realized you can make anything fun and anything work........This is coming from the non fun parent...see Chris is the fun one, puts all the games together, runs around the house like a kid having fun with our kids...I am the clean up, organized one..so this Christmas..I tried my hand at putting together basket ball hoops, cars , camera, ipods, blizzard makers and zombie lab sets..yep that is right my 2nd child has a very healthy appetite for all things yummy aka ice cream and gross...pretending to eat throw up and stomach acid.
Yum..I know.
I tried to do the whole play thing and well eventually fell asleep on the sofa b/c we had to get up at the crack of dawn to open presents..so dad could be there. We did everything the day before and it was pretty awesome I must say..way less stress. We all got very spoiled and I promised myself next year I will do less.

Right now I have locked my kids in their room and made them promise to not make a mess..Chris's mom and dad and sister on on their way here...we are all very excited!! We have really missed seeing our family.
 It is gray and cold here...days like this I really miss Florida :( But I really like not sweating all of the time and I adore, boots, jackets and scarfs. But I miss being tan, and not having to wear socks. I love flip flops.
Sorry for rambling...
anyways we took the girls ice skating and now they want to be future Olympic ice skaters, and they watched the movie Soul surfer and they also want to be professional surfers. Ana took every Barbie in the house and tore off one arm...now they are cool she said :) I love my kids.
We have also watched tons of movies, ate way to much candy, I have read a ton of books, played outside and stayed up way way to late. I love the holidays!!

A little Monkey business

My little monkey turned two!!! And he is all toddler..he loves to run, throw things, hit and he specializes in tantrums...I rent him out for free...if you need to torture or drive someone crazy for the day?? just give me a ring..I am happy to help you out :) Kidding aside we love this little guy and we are so grateful he is part of our family!!!

You know how everyone supposedly has a twin?? Well today Chris went to eat lunch with 


Ana...and one of her classmates came up to him and said with great excitement.."Do you know 


who you look just like"?? Chris asked who and the little boy said Santa Claus!!! HAAAAAA!! He 


then asked Chris to please say Ho Ho HO....to which Chris did ......the little boy then went skipping 


off with a huge smile saying he even sounds just like him!! 


Yep, I am one lucky gal! I can add married to the big man to my list now :)

Visitors

My dad came to see us..we had lots of fun..Wyatt loved him to pieces...it was nice having Wyatt want someone else to pick him up all of the time :)

 Chris and I went to the gym to a normal overcast day came out to really low temps and snow...by this afternoon it was gone...this weather is CRAZY!!! We were wearing shorts a few days ago... snapped some pics this morning.

 All he wants is all things electronic...camera, phone etc..he can actually navigate my droid!!! He can find all of the games..it is so funny watching him use his little finger to scroll through the apps.

It Happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.......it snowed!!! The kids were bursting with excitement….see the video below….

Sorry for the bright lights..our house is lit up like fort Knox...

Thanksgiving was great………I am so thankful for all of my blessings.....believe me...I am a lucky gal and count my blessing every night!!!!! But to sum it up we ate, and ate and then did it again...I was happy to go to my zumba class today and start repairing all of the damage that pumpkin pie caused. 

And I…. (ahem mostly Chris J ) finally finished most of my house projects…dining room table, framing the tv and hanging pics etc etc. I will take pics of the upstairs tomorrow…I was to lame to walk upstairs to take them…I know I am sad. I own it. 

Christmas also arrived at our house via lots and lots of boxes of decorations…we started decorating 4 days ago…and we still have not finished…I realized it is a process…it times time and energy and motivation…….things I am lacking lately.

 First time ever we were able to hang our stockings on a mantel....so cool. And wyatt is break-dancing.

 This was fun watching Chris crawl up here....now I just need to hide that pesky cord.

 I think I am addicted to pine cones...I noticed every room has a theme..kitchen is the pine cone room.

 Office is the poinsettia room and the dining room is the snowflake room.

The weather has been awesome…we played a little soccer with max…and a little hide and seek with Wy.

 Max was all tuckered out from chasing the ball..which he eventually popped....
