My blog Marathon

Wow, it has been so long since I have blogged..i think I forgot how....so I am going to try and play catch up from the last few months....
so on to Halloween..
we had a 60's hippie, a Spanish dancer and a wee little pirate!! We had a blast at our Ward's Trunk or Treat!!

.So on to Thanksgiving....we were blessed to be able to see some good friends the Martin's and the Cosme's. It is crazy to think that 10 years ago we all started out with just us couples and now all together we have 12 kids. Crazy!!

Here are those adorable kids!! Love everyone of them. I think Sweet Ezra is missing from the pic. though.
So then after some fun times with them we head home to all get sick..awesome Huh?? And Chris had to work all thanksgiving so it pretty much was a lame holiday for us but hey we got to see our friends and we all got well so I am extremely grateful for that.

Now on to December....ever since I was six months preggo with Wyatt I developed problems with my upper back....I had hoped it was just the pregnancy and went on my merry way. It seemed to be fine for a while but right after Thanksgiving and our bout with the Flu, I began to hurt a lot and it got progressively worse. I did ice, heat, meds galore and walked around for days smelling like an icy hot patch!! You could tell where I was just by sniffing...
I was holding on to the hope that I had pulled a muscle or something that was compressing a nerve. See my whole family has back problems but me...nothing, nada at all. I thought I was one lucky ducky and had escape that poor gene.

So three weeks melted into 4 and I was really not doing so well, and those of you who really know me.....know it is bad, when I did not even make poor Wyatt a b-day cake, or clean or decorate or do well anything..I was kinda living in a pain filled haze. The last straw was week 5 when I was no longer able to grip things with my right hand. So off I went to have a mri. I was hoping nothing would show and I would heal on my own but alas I discovered that I have some problems with my c5 dics and something called cervical stenosis. My nerves were being compressed hence all of my pain and lack of motion. I am doing traction and PT and might just have surgery to fix it but we will see.
So back to Dec. poor Wyatt..his b-day was sad. I wanted to make him this cute little puppy dog cake since he loves him some puppy dogs and decorate all cutesy and invite over a few friends.
Did not happen.........
So would I be completely crazy like to redo it....I mean I never wanted to be that mom who forgot to take pics or did not do things up all fancy like for kids 2 and 3. And I am slowly becoming that Mom :(

I just might have to for his scrapbook..he will never know the date anyways. But Chris's family came to support and they made things great for him..here are a few pics...
Last December..this make me so sad when I see how fast he is growing up!

My store brought Cake....Wyatt loving it....and later as he opened all of his presents..Grandma and Grandpa B....spoiled him as usual.

Onto to Christmas..still hurting but managing.
Santa was extremely generous to the girls..in fact I think they got everything they wanted except their own ipod touches and laptops..geesh! They also enjoyed camping in the rain, fun with family especially their cousins, a bounce house and well just got spoiled all around.
Chris, Wyatt and I were also able to play Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus at our Stake's big nativity. Is was way fun and a great way to stay focused on why we celebrate the Christmas season.

Christmas morning at 6:30 :(

Sadie also had her chorus performance which I was able to go to and she did a great job!!! And Kelly and Brian were able to come and see us so Christmas was so much fun! We also got to go to the beach so here is a cute beach pic I took I was going for artistic....

The others are just cute:) Most of the time Wyatt just ate the dirt..like really ate it....it was kinda gross.
Ana and Luke
January
My baby turned NINE!! I am officially old! She had a great B-day...after she got over strep throat..she was super sick but thanks to antibiotics she was on her feet in a few days. We took her to Bush Gardens, then out to eat and family came over to celebrate with cake and ice cream.
She FINALLY got her new bike..I love this picture. She was so excited!!!

The gang as she opens her stash from Gma and Gpa B.

We also got to go to the circus!! And Cindy, Luke and Jess joined us.
The girls checking out the elephants.
So that sums up the last few months.:)
