Time to look for some cowboy boots

We went to Tennessee this last week so Chris could interview for a job there. It went very well. Great people and a great opportunity :)
It was in Middle Tennessee outside of Nashville. Lots of rolling Hills and beautiful trees. So green and so peaceful.
We all started off super excited....the girls have never been on a plane so they were about to bust. Ana, Wyatt and I sat together. Chris and Sadie sat in front of us. The girls excitement changed as soon as we started to ascend into the air...they were unprepared for the ear popping and pressure. But we kept the gum and water going to help. After about 5 minutes in the air Ana had to pee and then Wyatt went number 2. Changing a baby on a plane was an interesting experience. I feel so sorry for the man that was sitting next to me. He kept having to get up to let me out.
Best traveler so far was Wyatt though...... Did not cry at all, on either flight.

We were able to visit Franklin and see the awesome shops and the temple, and we went to Nashville and went to centennial park where a replicate of the Parthenon is built. We also ate at some yummy restaurants. Thanks Kirsten!! We loved the Mellow Mushroom!!
Minus the bumpy start, some throwing up, smoky hotel, rental car problems and a flat tire.....it was pretty dang awesome!! Here are some pics.

At airport waiting for our flight.
Girls playing old Maid to pass the time.

Tennessee county side.
Old cannon
Big Chair at the old Factory in Franklin. They took a factory from the 20's and made it into a small mall...so cute.

We just had to see the Parthenon.

At an old war monument.
The view from a hill outside of Franklin.

Old barn and silo.

I don't bite I promise!!!

Nursing is a wonderful thing!! I have been blessed to be able to nurse 2 of my three kiddos and I really like it. EXCEPT when my sweet little baby BITES ME! It was horrible. I yelled quite loudly which made him laugh and giggle and try to do it again soooo I had to flick him on the cheek which made him stick out his little lip and sob which in turn made me feel even worse...sigh.

Here are just some cute pics..
the darling car my dad got the Y-man. And a makeover by his adoring sisters. They said it was his rocker/punk look....??I am not sure they achieved their desired goal and he did not approved but hey it makes for a fun photo. Enjoy!

We were able to go up to our old stomping grounds for the FSU/BYU game this weekend.

And thanks to Chris's sister's, we got great FREE tickets...not the awesome air conditioned with free food box seats like they got...but hey free is free so no complaints from us.
We had a lot of fun and were able to hang with Chris' brother and wife. Good times!!!

We were also able to run into a bunch of friends up there. I think we saw half of our old Tally ward. And half of our ward here. It was great! You could bank on the fact that if the person had a blue shirt they were members and you probably knew them..well all except the bozo we saw at the very end..he was plastered and still drinking while sporting his BYU shirt and lots and lots of tattoos. I am thinking a bishop probably....or..... a stake president... J/k :)
......sadly my primary kids who I saw refused to hug me b/c I was sporting a sweet new FSU shirt and FSU accessories and my hair in Indian braids. But today after sacrament they said I had hopefully repented and now they would give me hugs...little did they know but I am still a FSU fan :) .......but I will say after sitting with the crowd we did I am seriously considering changing sides....All around us were snarky remarks about Mormons and Utah...what is the deal????
Little did they know that we were Mormons..so after a few comments..Chris and I had had enough and started saying little things back. They finally realized and started whispering ..I think they are BYU fans....alas ........nope.....just those crazy Mormons they were bashing. Good times.

But other than the drunk we saw I was super proud of those crazy Mormons!! All of us looked so nice.....not one string bikini out of the bunch. .... yes we did see some lovely FSU kids in theirs...and let's just say a stadium filled with 70 plus thousand crammed people..is not the place to wear a bikini.....just think sweat and leave it at that.
But I did hear that a bunch of my other friends had a completely different experience and their sections were totally awesome and welcoming to them. So there is hope for you good old Tallahassee. All in all a great weekend. My sweet sister kept my kiddos and Higgins did quite well being away from me so long and I did pretty good myself. I only texted her twice.
Sadly the only pics we have are on Chris's phone so the cute picture we have with Angie and Joe I can not post 'cause I do not know how...ah shucks.
But Go Noles!! and here is to great times with great friends and family. :)

Huston..we have teeth and movement!

We had been looking into baby dentures for Higgins since he eats table food already...yes I know it is a big surprise.....he looks so malnourished :) but it appears we will not have to....two little teethy's are making their way up in the bottom. This has blessed us with a fever, runny nose and over all a cranky baby. Oh JOY!
He is also now becoming more mobile. The girls are so excited to see him crawl..hopefully it will be soon. As of now he just goes backwards.
