Random things

I wanted to make sure I jotted/typed down a few things so that I do not forget....

1. Tonight we went to a welcome home party for two missionaries in our ward...(weird thing is one of them served her mission in the Czech Republic and her mission pres. was from our old stake...crazy small world huh?? And as we were getting ready to go and saying our goodbyes....Wyatt leaned in, pucker up and kissed this little 95 year old lady right on the lips !!!!! A huge smile and giggle broke out on her sweet face and she said she needed that....it was such a random thing but I got the feeling my little Wyatt (who does not like most people)  is one special little man and understands a lot more than I realize.

2. Surround sounds rocks....I have to give my husband credit..this house is wired everywhere with speakers..even outside. I was against getting all of the crap ahem I mean speakers, receivers etc needed to fully utilize the system...but today as I sat outside on the deck, with temps in the low 70's with a beautiful breeze, , listening  to BYU TV..I was thinking man this is the life.

3. I am the animal whisperer/spotter....I see them everywhere and I am not talking about just lame ole' birds, squirrels etc I mean crazy things like beavers, a ram thing, turkey, baby deer, coyotes etc etc. This place is like a zoo...you can be driving along and out pops a whole family of deer or on your way home from Lowes, a beaver waddles across the road. It is quite a thing..

4. doubles..I think we all have one, today I met a little girl who looks just like one of our friends daughter and her mom resembles my friend as well. I kept calling her Annie and even my girls asked me was Miss Lyndi visiting..I so wanted to snap a pic and sent to my friend but I thought it might weird out her mom.

5. Sometimes doing it yourself is the best way....I went to a furniture store to look for some chairs and as i was trying to wrap my head around how stuff could cost that much, I saw a table and chair set that I adored and of course that meant it would cost a lot..(sigh)
and I was right...the table was 4, 000. and each chair was 1,000. But as I looked at it, I realized it look exactly like the table I got with my crazy sweet friends Lindsay and Niki at fish hawk while we were garage sale shopping.
(Side note) Never stand in their way when they are determined..they put this huge table and chairs in Linz' van..with us in it...good times :)
So I think I spent around 100 on it and after a little work it will look just like that 12, 000 dollar table and chairs..I will post pics as soon as I am done.

6. Painting is a pain but the end results are awesome...

7. I got my hair cut for $$15 bucks and they did an awesome job..first haircut I have like in well forever..the stylist took a while b/c she wanted to make sure that I liked how it was turning out etc. Best experience ever...Salon Envy you are a keeper.

Celebration time...

Our celebration roll call....
**Early mornings:( ....not...I really do not like them but once I am up I am ok....
So due to the time difference here this is what I often find on school days at 6:45 in the am....
They know how to have fun in the morning.....still in PJ's, no shoes and crazy hair.

**Tree climbing...we love it

** Chris's b-day...the girls made him some pretty cool paper finery. and I made him a tasty birthday cake..and well he got off a whole week of work..man I love his schedule. He also got a cool new Tennessee Florida State Seminole tag..he refused to get one that looked like the ones here....so I paid the big bucks for him...while I just got the normal Tennessee tag..it is not that bad.

Blowing out the candles!

**We also explored Nashville and went to this cool science museum and the hard rock cafe. More pics to come on all of that.  After checking out music row...I see cowboy boots and line dancing in our future :)

And last but not least....
Cute PJ's...I love little kids in PJ's...and I love my goofy, silly husband.
