Super MOM...

Definition...all women with kids especially my mother and my mother-in-law :)

I look up to a lot of other Mothers..some examples.....my mom..she was a saint....seriously..I could go on and on but let's just say she worked full time her whole life with a terminal illness and took care of four kids plus one big kid..my dad..helped take care of 4 plus animals and made cookies and stuff like that...I seriously have no idea how she did it... I hope you are getting some rest up there MOM :) I love you!!!.!!!

My mother in law..Linda...also an angel. People complain about their mother in laws..I got nada...she is sweet and kind and funny and just well plain nice. She buys the best gifts, has the best laugh, stills works full time, is very organized, is always helping people, a great cook and well she had and raised Chris...I could not be more grateful.!!! I love ya Linda!!!

I also have a ton of friends who are well just great moms, patient, kind, fun, somehow manage to raise and take care of their kids while taking on a few others for the day.

So tonight as I was alone..as usual..no bitterness there people!!!!!

I was bathing Wyatt (in the kitchen sink), loading the dishwasher, cooking food in the microwave, cutting a water Mellon, spelling a word to Ana, telling Sadie how to write a b in cursive..to then cleaning the kitchen, starting the washing machine, reading scriptures and trying to say prayers while chasing Wyatt around as he took off his diaper, getting him to sleep while the girls decided to play the loudest game ever of whatever they were doing ....to trying to have a few quiet moments with them as one tells me all about her favorite book while the other points out all of the new bedding and decor she wants while doing cheer moves which got the other one up and they started competing about who was the best which ended in tears and somehow physical pain. And I never once yelled..so I think....I might just might be a super mom in the making.... or I a developing adhd....

funniest overheard conversation of the night..

Ana: " So, Sadie what is gifted??"

Sadie:" Well, it means you are more advanced, and at school you get to go to a different class to help challenge you"

Ana: "Um, "You"?? go to a gifted class???

Sadie:" Yes, b/c I am more advanced"

Ana: (laughing uncontrollably..(lasts for a while.) "Oh, Sadie, that is the funniest thing I have heard all day"...you advanced.." hee hee

That my friends is why they are sisters....they will keep each other straight.

Well if you are a 16 month old ;) and being chubby is attractive!

I made a chocolate cake....quite yummy and little man kept saying pleaaassseeeeee...so I gave him a small slice. He enjoyed it ...a lot!!

Sadie had a full week...she was spoiled with some friends......(above)

Through all of this......my little tag a long....Wyatt and I spent a lot of time..walking hallways and inspecting water fountains. We had to be quiet for a long time......let's just say that was .....pretty much impossible....especially with so many nonexistent naps .

Life

Life has been going well and time is flying by way too fast. When we got back from TN, we all, with the exception of Sadie, got really sick..high fevers, headaches and all over feeling like crap. The one thing that bugs me about being a stay at home mom..no sick days....even though I felt horrible, kids gotta eat, bills have to be paid and babies still need changing.

There has also been a lot of adding and multiplying...

Sadie competed again on the math bowl team. They placed 2nd and are now going to Regionals. We know where she got her mad math skills from.....not me.....

Things are also going well with the house. Loan on track, house inspection done and good. Everything we wanted fixed.....they agreed so yippee!!!

B-day, Easter and Tennessee

Well it has been a while since I have posted anything..time is flying right now.

Last month's recap....I had a great 30 something b-day) . And I was very spoiled :) Went to dinner with great friends, lunch with great friends, lots of presents, multiple cards from my kids and a very special b-day cake from two very sweet friends. It was a great b-day. I think I like my thirties way more than my twenties.

Easter weekend...we had a great time ;) Easter egg hunts, primary parties, dinner with family, and lots of candy.... Wyatt especially loved eating all of the jelly beans. We all coordinated with yellow. My contribution was yellow shoes. ... I luv 'em.

We then flew out to Tennessee to look for houses. I left the kids with Chris's sister Jessica and she deserves a gold medal or at least Aunt of the year award. The kids had a blast but I now know I am a big 'ole wimp....I missed them like crazy. Five days and six nights were a little to long for me. My friend Linz took them for the weekend...she is also a saint. I owe them both big time!!!

But the trip was successful we found a house, made an offer and they accepted it..now we wait for the home inspector's report and all of that Jazz..if it all goes well..then the house below will be our new digs. I heart this house. I can see tons of potential. Just give me paint and a little time. Gorgeous neighborhood and tons of space. I love the yard, kitchen, bonus room, master bath etc etc. I hope everything works out 'cause i think we will like it there.

I will miss our ward though...the new one is a little bit smaller and not as many young families. But the ones I met I could tell we will be great friends. So all in all I am excited. I guess i need to bring back my thick southern twang. It has gotten lost :)
