Happy doctor's day

Ok Chris came home and told me it was Doctor's day so I decided to pay homage to my Favorite Doctor!!!!! So Dr. Bingham you are pretty awesome. You work a zillion hours a week and come home and still wash dishes, change diapers, read bedtime stories and manage to stay awake long enough to talk to me :) And you are not to shabby as a Dr. from what I hear :)
So Happy Doctor's Day to you!!!!!

Some Silly Pictures

Right before Sadie fell :)

Ana....splash!

This was too silly not to post.

A little Early Summer Fun

So we took the girls to Adventure island and it was freezing!! There was only about 50 people there and I think they were all from up north. We were the only crazy Floridians there . But Chris and the girls had a blast!!

Here are the crazy cousins at Cindy's 6th mermaid birthday party. The girls had a blast. Thanks Cindy and Aunt Jessica!

I had to include this one b/c we finally got Luke. He kept jumping in to early :)

Got this shirt from Chris's uncle. Love it :)

Came home and found Chris and Wyatt and had to get this picture. To cute.

Run Sadie Run!!

So I have been trying to lose the 50 plus pounds that I gained while being pregnant. I have now figured out that if I am not working out and trying to lose weight then I will gain weight fast. So hence the three months of bed rest and you get a lot of extra weight. So i have started running again to hopefully slim down a little faster. Tonight Sadie wanted to come with me and I felt bad and said ok thinking that tonight's run would not happen. Well she did amazing!! We walked a mile and then ran one. I was blown away. Kudos to my girl!! She did better than me :)

Hi Ho Hi Ho off to the Dr we go :)

So I had to wind up taking Ana Banna to the Er yesterday to get Fluids. When she woke me up at 4am she was throwing up bile...way gross so I knew I had lost the battle of trying to keep her hydrated. Lucky for me Chris was already at the hospital b/c he was on call so I started trying to call him @ 5am. That is where my luck ended. He never answered. Ana was getting more and more lethargic and I was getting more and more worried!! Around 6 I started texting my friends so I could drop off Sadie for school and take Ana to the Er. And I could not reach anyone!! I said a prayer and my friend Lindsay called and said she would come get Sadie Yay!!. And the Chris finally answered my page and said he would meet me in the ER. So off we went. I have never even been to the ER at Tampa General so I was little confused on where to park etc. Well they do valet parking(Nice) But as I was pulling up the ramp to do this a trauma was coming and the ambulance driver almost ran us over!! I handed over my keys to the valet and we go right in. Way nice!!
(On a side note on the way to the ER Ana had gotten sick a few times in the car. I had prepared and brought a bowl and a towel etc.)When I left to go home I had a wonderful surprise. Somehow during my stay in the ER the bowl was turn upside down and I had a lovely mess to clean up..it was so awesome! :(

Well, Ana was a trooper and let them do a whole work up and iv's and a few other things I will not mention. She is a great kiddo. They only thing she absolutely hated was the contrast she had to drink for the ct scan. We had to promise her a new build a bear and a chance to play the X-box. Well after fluids and a few test we were able to go home. I am so grateful for Modern medicine and love people who went to school for a very, very, very long time to be able to provide us with help and answers. Doctor and Nurses and tech's rock!!

The silver bowl

So Last Night I am on the computer doing some stuff for primary and I hear a small groan then "Mom", then...a watery splat. If you are a mother or have ever babysat small children then that sound brings dread to your stomach. I yelled at my husband to get the silver bowl. In our home this bowl is renown. Everyone knows if you are ever sick to run and get the silver bowl. Only Chris was a bit to slow. And Ana made a lovely trail all over her room and down the hall. Thank heavens I still have my in-laws streamer! The carnage was everyone..there were build-a-bear and Barbie causalities, my church bag got it, my shoes and Sadie's backpack..but Shhh she does not know that. (I cleaned it up real good before she awoke)

On top of that we had eaten a bunch of strawberries yesterday so it is red and I completely freak and think something is wrong. Thankfully Chris is home and takes charge. And reminds me of the strawberries and orders me to get cleaning. Well since the beginning of time or well the beginning of our marriage I DO NOT do throw up. If I throw up I close my eyes and then run away quickly and leave Chris to clean it up. I know lame, lame, lame but it has worked just fine for us so why change it. Well after three kids I am thinking I can do it!! And I did :) I was so proud. I cleaned the floor, put all of her bedding in the washer, cleaned backpacks, rugs etc etc. Around 1 am when I was done I did a little victory dance, and well now I think my husband thinks I am insane. But this was a big deal for me. But hey I do not want to over do it so I had a long talk with Sadie and Wyatt and told them no more throw up at least for this week. Let's hope they listen.

What to do and not to do!!

Things NOT to do-try to fix our car ourselves and wind up spending A LOT of MONEY
So this weekend my hubbie decided to work on my car to save us some big bucks!! He was replacing the ball joints and wheel bearings. We only have to keep the car until next spring and then I get to get a new one Yeah so we did not want to put a lot of money it in!!! Well long story short...it was not a good experience. And we had to wind up towing it and paying a lot more to fixit. So lesson learned....Doctor's work in a hospital and mechanics in a garage for a reason!!!

Things NOT to Do: Call the Wrong Number and vent to a complete stranger
Well with the car issue Chris was really upset and he never gets upset!!!and so I felt horrible. Well I decided to try and arrange something fun for him. He was going to get tickets from his attending to go see the Lighting play so I thought I would be a sweet wife and call his dad to go with him and that way when he got home from work his dad would be here and they could go hang out and have some fun. So I tried to call their home and no one was there so I left a message. Well I have Mike's (Chris's dad) cell phone number or so I thought!! So I called the number I had and a guy said hello. I said "hey"and asked "who this was?" he said Jacob. Well my brother in law is named Jacob so I just thought it was him . They live in the same town etc so I thought maybe he was with them. I started talking to him and saying how the girls were so sad to not be able to go to the movie with his wife and kids and how Chris was really bummed about the car and on and on I went. Finally I asked if Mike was there and he said "Ma, I do not know who Mike is"and I just got really quiet and said "where did you get this phone"and he said "the Verizon store." I then realized I am an idiot and had been talking to a complete stranger but seriously what are the odds??? Anyways I apologized and told him thank you for listening to me and then hung up. So lesson learned...check your numbers before you start venting to a complete stranger. Even if the stranger was really nice and let me vent for awhile :)

To Do-Have fun with Family
So we were suppose to go over and take the girls to see a movie with their Aunt Jessica and Grandpa and Grandma Bingham well with our car difficulties we could not go over :(
(I can not drive Chris's car which is a stick shift-but we will save that for another blog post)
Believe me there was great wailing and gnashing of teeth from Sadie and Ana. I believe that their exact words were that we have ruined their lives. Good to know we have achieved that already at such a young age. Now that Chris and my job is done we can relax hee hee;) J/K Well I managed to calm them down and promise that we could go see them soon.
Well SURPRISE, Grandma and Grandpa called on Sunday and said that they were coming over and on top of that bringing Cindy and Luke and Easter presents. Boy it does not get any better than that!! We were really grateful to them and appreciated their visit. We all needed a pick me up.
Wyatt and Grandpa!!!
I took this picture b/c I love the way Wyatt was looking at him. Wyatt loves his Grandpa.
And not to leave Grandma out. He was smiling and cooing at her too!! Wyatt is a lucky boy. He has great Grandparents.
I loved this picture!! Chris and his dad were reading and laughing at the Far Side Comics. I can just image one day this will be Wyatt and Chris.
Grandma and Wyatt again. I got them on video. Wyatt was cooing and talking so sweet to her.

Ana showing off her Bunny coloring book they got her and Sadie.
Sadie, Cindy and Ana cheesing for me. I went out to take the picture and they were barking and howling like dogs. I asked them what they were doing and they said, "We are howling and barking like a dog." Sometimes I think I should just be quite. :)

CrAzY Picture!!

Tissue Paper Pom-Poms

So I found these on line and thought they would make a cute mobile for Wyatt. So I went and brought everything and made one. This is the picture of how they are suppose to look.

This is mine. Not bad but not great. So I went looking for something else and I found paper globes.

Here is a picture of the globes used as a topiary.

Topiarycutout

And here is mine. Not to shabby I must say. Now I just have to make a few more and then hang them over his crib. And a side note, hopefully my face will be smaller soon...I so ready to lose this extra baby fat!!!!!

Let's Go fly a Kite...
Today was beautiful and a great day to fly a kite. Chris was able to stay home until he got paged to go in so we went out front and had some fun. Sadie and I were awesome flyers, Ana not so much but we had a blast until it got to windy and the kite kept crashing.

Oh the thing Big Sister's do...

Sadie is an aspiring hair dresser j/k and wanted to test out some styles on Wyatt. She even added a MP3 . Poor Wyatt he looked so confused.

Daddy's Night out with the Girls!!!

Chris took Sadie and Ana out to a movie and dinner. They saw the new Alice in Wonderland in 3-D. Sadie was really worried about it b/c at Busch Garden's she saw the pirate 3-d show and let's just say she is not fond of the bees, and the spiders. So she was worried about this movie being similar. But she and Ana loved it and gave it 2 thumbs up.
And I must say my husband is a hottie!!!

Judge hair
So it is hard to tell from the picture but this is Wyatt's judge hair from the previous post. It gets all curly and stands up. And the girls think his hair looks like a judge from the old days.

Wyatt's Tree

So we have had this fake tree for years. My mom gave it to me soon after Chris and I were married. Other than that there is nothing special about it and over the years the kids have pulled off leaves and given it a lot of grief. So we have thought about getting rid of it. Well here is the funny thing. Wyatt loves it!!! We can sit him by it and he will just laugh and coo at it. No one believes me until they see it for themselves but it is true.
So care to comment why??? Sadie thought it was b/c he likes the color green so we tried her theory and showed him a green piece of paper......drum roll....nope he did not smile or anything. I guess it is a mystery but hey it makes him happy so the tree will stay.

My Gangster Girl
So the other night Chris was on call and I downloaded some Disney Starstruck tunes for the girls. While I was doing this, Ana dressed up and gave me a show. See for yourself. It was pretty awesome :)

My first post

So I have finally made a blog. I know crazy huh??? But I decided it was time so here we go.
I have also decided to try and learn a new thing each month. I was going to shoot for one each week but I am giving myself some slack for just having a baby so I decide to change it to a month. So I will list some of the ones I have done so far.

Taking care of a little boy:

So Chris and I only have girl babies or so I thought and then BAM...we find out we are having a boy. We were so excited and scared. I was really worried about raising a boy. Would I have to call him dude all of the time??? and would it be really weird to change his diapers etc etc. I worried endlessly. Well I love it!! I do call him dude but b/c I like to and I am figuring out all of the boy stuff so far. I know I have a lot to learn. And kudos to me b/c he has only peed on me once Yay!!!! And Chris has been peed on a bunch. Hee Hee

Playing the game Rock Band: So I have an awesome friend who has game day at her house every Tuesday where she has a zillion kids come and play and let's us adults come to and we play card games and other fun games. So I had never tried the rock band thing..everyone raves about it but I have never got on board. So I have finally done it!!!! And I will have to say I am really bad but I had fun. I liked the drums and singing the best.

Playing cards: So growing up we could not have face cards in our home...way long story....but that makes me completely ignorant of any and all card games. Thanks to my friends and game day, I have now been completely corrupted :) Hee heee hee . I can actually play a game called Rook. My friends are all pros and amazing and I know that I slow them down but I am so happy to say that I now know what the face cards are called and what order they go in..A special Thanks to Niki, Linz and Brit!!!!

Reserving a book online: Ok I know this sounds lame but I have never done this so I did it!! Super easy and way effective, I was able to go online reserve it and just breeze into the library and pull it off a shelf and snap I was done :)

How to fix a broken Flat screen:

Ok long story, our flat screen TV died..it was not the best brand but hey is was on sale and we got it way back when Chris was in Medical School so it held good memories...so one morning we awoke and tried to turn it on and it would not turn on. The light would turn green for a sec and then it would just die...AAAAHHH I was so mad. So Chris and I took it apart and I tried to fix it. I started researching the brand and how it works. So far I have learn about how diodes work and that our power supply unit is most likely broken. side note ...Radio shack will test your dioxides for you if you play the airhead girl for them. :> So far no success but I will keep you posted.

It is Great to Be Eight!!!

Sadie turned eight and was baptized in Jan.

Ok I cannot believe that my baby is 8!!! Time has flown so fast. I love her so much. She is smart and sweet and a joy to raise. She makes Chris and I look good as parents and not b/c we have done anything. That is just Sadie. She had a great baptism. We had our family and friends here and it was perfect. I asked her a few weeks before who she wanted to speak at her baptism etc. and her response was Mom, you cannot rush these things I need to pray about it. To which I replied of course……..what a great kid.

So she picked her first primary teacher here in Riverview and her Aunt Jessica. They both did a wonderful job and I am so grateful to them. We also had a great friend lend us the beautiful dress she wore and volunteer to make these cute little treats, for everyone. Donuts with a cute message attached”Donut you know you made the day special” So cute!!! And 50 plus she made!! Man I have wonderful friends!!!!

Wyatt’s blessing

We also blessed my little guy the same weekend. Chris gave a beautiful blessing. Wyatt is a sweet and happy baby. I am absolutely wrapped around his finger. He actually has all of wrapped around his finger. Boy he is going to be spoiled.

So Wyatt has a lot of nick names, I thought I would give a few of them:

Judge: Back-story…..when we gave him his first bath his hair got all curly. The girls squealed he has judge hair. And started saying hey little judge and well it stuck so if you hear us calling him judge you will know why.

Littlest outlaw-We owe this name to Uncle Dave J and I love it. I think I will have a sign made to put in his room.

Wiley Wabbit-I made this one up..hey I like the Elmer Fudd.

We looked!
Then we saw him
step in on the mat!
We looked!
And we saw him!
The Cat in the Hat"
It was Dr. Seuss's B-day this week so Ana could dress up as the cat in the hat..I think I did a pretty good job with her outfit..she was not to thrilled but she wore it.
