looking at life with new lenses

Wyatt loves these goggles!! I think he loves them because they make everything blue....well they make me laugh...and think.....

I got a whole different perspective when I was able to help out with the girls field day..and yes i forgot the camera and sunscreen but no I did not forget the water and snacks ;) 2 out of four is not bad. but while I was there I saw one of the most touching things i have seen in a long time. I was helping out with the obstacle course race.......the kids had to jump over ropes, do a tire run and zig zag between cones and hop over boulders (soft ones)
It was a ton of fun..I was hoarse from laughing and cheering them on. Well some very wise person at their school decided to integrate all of the children with special needs with the other classes. I found myself tearing up as I watched kids help their friends with disabilities race through this course. They were holding hands, helping them jump, and cheering them on. It was a beautiful sight. I felt some much gratitude for these children and their Christ like example. And then to really make the tears fall, this sweet dad, picked up his son from his wheel chair and ran the race with him in this arms. I was so grateful to be able to watch these examples and to participate with all of these children. My testimony has increased ten fold by serving in primary. I know that all of these children are children of Heavenly Father. He loves them so very much. They are sacred and special and deserving of so much of our love. I am so grateful to know this.

And silence is not golden....
we finally have some answers to our quest to get Wyatt to speak. Poor guy has some hearing loss due to some very clogged middle ears...we are off to see the ENT and hopefully get some tubes so that he can actually hear us. I am crossing my fingers that we can do this soon.

Just stuff

I feel bad b/c I have not been taking pictures lately. Now that Wyatt is on the move....so am I which leaves less time to grab that camera.
So of late Wyatt is turning into a little monster. He loves to fake yell when all is quiet like at church or when we are saying prayers..causing the girls to dissolve into fits of laughter. Chris taught him the smolder look..he puts his head down and then looks up at you with his eyes...it is hysterical! he still refuses to use his words..AAAH! And he bit my friends little girl this morning while we were working out!! I felt horrible! I can not deal with a biter...no ma!
I took him to pick strawberries last week and I will have to depend on my friend to sent me a picture..it was priceless. He was covered head to toe with strawberries and mud.

The girls had a great weekend..they got to go to Grandma B's house and go to a drive in movie with their cousins. Before they felt and(yes I know it was complete manipulation on their part but I will take it anyways)
they both hugged me and said I was a wonderful mom and I was raising them the right way. Ahh the nice moments!!

I am still doing this insane workout regime..every day 6 days a week :(. I swear on some days I think I might expire but alas my body keeps going. All I can say is it better work. I think I have sweat more in the last 3 1/2 weeks then my entire life. I have discovered muscles I did not know existed. The best part of it is watching Chris..I am doing it in the morning and he is doing it at night..there is a perverse satisfaction in watching someone else suffer as well.

On to our move...as we get closer and closer.....I am thinking of getting a map of the place we are moving to, closing my eyes and randomly pointing to a place on the map and that is where we will buy a house. This whole moving, looking for schools (private vs. public) which ward and finding the right house and gettting financing is for the birds.

We are going to buy a RV and just park it on the hospital's lawn and then I can drive it to whichever school district I want the girls to go to.....J/K....maybe.
