The art of eating a Popsicle and Bingham fun

We have a tradition of sorts that starts as soon as the weather is warm again. We buy a bunch of Popsicles... and eat them in like a day :) this was Wyatt's first time really eating one. He was very happy until he bit off more than he could handle..he screamed bloody murder and spit it all over the floor and came to me with his mouth open screaming like a banshee. I was surprised..I thought it was in our DNA to love popsicles. Now when I try to give him one he walks away..bummer.

Here are a few pictures before he went ballistic.
My girls...you can tell that Ana is almost 100% Bingham...never a serious picture ;) ....Even though Sadie looks just like a Bingham she is 100% Kinard..she freaks out just like I always did..I wish my mom was here for me to call her and tell her i am so sorry!!

My boys....as soon as Chris comes home they start playing.. love it!!

Wyatt loves books..he does his little excitement shakes..we call them our mini seizures whenever he sees them ;)

So five years ago today my mom passed away. She was and is a wonderful amazing lady. Full of spirit and sweetness. She was just a lovely person and I am so honored to be her daughter. I miss her very much!! I am so grateful to know and understand the doctrine of eternal families. I love thinking about her and telling my girls all about her. And I am so thankful to know that I will see her again. I love you Mom!!

Things to remember....

So things I want to remember......
I really really like my daughters!!! this comes on a week of intense female angst and drama. And may I remind you they are only 6 and 9...pleasssse! I have already been told I am mean, do not understand them and the strictest mom ever!!!...believe me they do not know mean..yet!

I need to remember how much I love/adore my son..even though my pregnancy destroyed my body and I will see my waist line again..right?? I am very determined to get back to my normal weight/body etc. I NEED to remember being in shape again!!!!

I need to remember that true friends are just that!! They stay around forever no matter what. I need to be a better friend :) So if you need me just call/email/text me:)

I need to remember that beauty is found inside not outside.

I need to remember that whenever everything goes to crap you can still find happiness and peace!

I need to remember to say i love you and thank you more!! So everyone..... I love you and thank you!!!

I need to remember to shut all bathroom doors so that my 1 year old will not drink the toilet water and whatever else my 6 year old does not flush down the toilet. EEWWWH!!!

I need to remember that every child progresses at their own pace..so quit drilling my baby at every opportunity and use that good ole education to help him out. He will talk one day!

I need to remember that those we love who have passed beyond the veil are still there and love us very much!!

I need to remember that having a dirty house is ok and does not mean I am a horrible person.

I need to remember to ask for help when I truly need it..being a martyr is lame :)

I need to remember that I have the best family/in-laws I could ask for.

I need to remember to always hide my cell phone, batteries and computer mouse unless I want to find my children on them racking up huge bills,
remotes and cameras that do not work and a computer that looks like it has been crashed by random inputs by a 1 year old with a computer mouse..(which it has)

I need to remember that it hugely sucks to have back pain but it is absolutely heaven not to have it :)

Last I need to remember that I am a child of God and I am loved very much and I am so very blessed!

These feet are made for walking......

So little man is officially a walker and I have mixed emotions. It makes me sad and happy. I love not having to carry him around everywhere but he is my baby and it makes me sad to see him grow up so fast. But I only really got to enjoy it for a few days..he now has the lovely flu the girls had and has a really high fever and body aches so he will not walk at all....he only wants me to carry him!!!...All day long....... And cries incessantly if I do not. Man, I am really going to need my cervical traction machine this week. I would upload the video but he got a hold of my camera and did something with my batteries..he likes to hide things :) So we will save that for a another post. And Happy Valentine's Day!!! I love holidays and celebrating stuff. I think I am going to start making up holidays so that I get to decorate and stuff. And I especially love that my husband always knows what to get me and what to write in my cards. It is always short and sweet but very sincere and from the heart, makes me tear up every time. I am one lucky gal :)

The week of First's

This week was filled with some of Wyatt's first's.
He had his official first hair cut...and boy does that kid have some hair...I almost cried while the lady was cutting it. There were piles and piles. This is right before. The crying and fighting :)
This was during and don't I look so good :)....NOT! (me talking as usual). Wyatt was doing better b/c the place I took him to had a dog and it was the sweetest thing. It came up and put it's head on Wyatt's feet. It helped calm him down.
The crying....
I even love it when he cries..so cute!!!

Almost done!

His new do!! He looks like a little boy now ...sniff sniff.

It is super short but I can spike it in the front and do a foe hawk :)

His next first was last night....as we all were kneeling to say family prayer, Wyatt left the coffee table and calmly walked to the couch. We all immediately started screaming and clapping............. scared the crap out of him :) Now when he starts to try and walk he looks at me like "Mom, do not do that crazy stuff again!"
So I will try and capture his cute little toddle on video.

The girls are great...started cheer leading last week...they get their practice uniforms tonight. They are about to bust from excitement.

Chris and I are now seriously starting to look into houses in Tennessee etc. It is very exciting and scary!! We fly up their again soon to check them out..wish us luck!!!!
